HISTORY

Arise Church SC is a non-denominational ministry that was started in 1985 at the direction of God. Our heart is to draw close to God and equip others to be the success that God intended that they be.

Founding Pastor Danny Wallace

Pastor Danny Wallace was born and raised in the small country town of Marion, South Carolina. His father had started a family salvage yard that as far as he was concerned was to be the future of his life. His dream was to work in the family business with his Dad and brother and the live in Marion the remainder of his life. God had much bigger plans!

Pastor Danny received the call of God on his life while working in that salvage yard in 1980. In 1981, Pastor Danny and his wife, Ginger, took their (then) two children and moved to Tulsa, OK, where he attended Rhema Bible Training Center. Although times were hard being away from family, Pastor Danny had found his spiritual father in the faith, Dr. Kenneth E. Hagin.

In 1982, Pastor Danny graduated from Rhema and returned back to South Carolina. After receiving direction from God he moved his family to Moncks Corner, SC where he knew he was to start a ministry. This vision that was birthed into his heart became a reality on March 17, 1985. Christian Fellowship Church’s first service took place with only 2 members in the living room of Pastor’s home.

From this point on others began to come and hook up with the vision that God had given him. Along with the many that were now a part of CFC they bought the church’s first building, an old skating rink which we pulled together and renovated. Then, after much prayer and labor, we moved into our newly completed church building in August of 1997. With a capacity to hold 500 plus members we were now positioned to grow and fulfill the vision which God had placed in our Pastor’s heart.

Today we continue to thrive and experience God’s true presence and power within every church service. Although our beloved Pastor and founder went on to be with the Lord in December 2004, the work that God started in him is truly carrying on. We still stand on what we were founded on over 20 years ago, rich teaching in the word and powerful demonstrations of the Spirit.

Our desire is to worship God in Spirit and in Truth. (John 4:24)

Our main focus during every service is to ensure that we are in tune with the Holy Spirit. Our heart’s desire is that God will minister to you at your point of need today. This is why it is so important for us to be sensitive to his direction, because we know that he knows exactly where you are in life today.
